This is the Best Private Tour to learn more about Lisbon, one of the oldest cities in Europe and capital of the oldest European country.

You will get a experienced local Guide. Learn the history of the portuguese maritime discoveries and it's glorious period.

We will start the tour from your hotel (optional), and visit in the morning the major sights of Lisbon such as Belem historical neighborhood (Belem Tower, Discovery Monument, and Jeronimo's Monastery), built after Vasco da Gama discovery of India, in late 15th century.

After, we will make a quick stop at the most famous pastry shop in Portugal, Pasteis de Belem, founded in 1837. The tour will head towards central Lisbon, admiring the major squares such as Rossio Square and Commerce Square, and all the history behind the Portuguese Enquisition on the 16th Century. During the afternoon and after lunch, we will start from Restauradores Square, and follow up the visit to Lisbon Downtown, passing by the old Santa Justa Elevator, admire the narrow streets of Alfama, visit the Lisbon Cathedral, originally built more than 1000 years ago, admire views towards the Lisbon Castle (St Jorge), passing by Chiado, Bairro Alto and some amazing viewpoints like Portas do Sol and Santa Luzia.

The tour will end with a visit to Parque das Nacoes, the new and modern part of the city, near the Tejo River, that hosted Expo'98, built to celebrate the 500 years of India's discovery by Vasco da Gama.
